As a functional medicine health coach and somatic therapist, I work with high-achieving women who are doing it all — and feeling it in their bodies. In my coaching programs and body-based sessions, we explore not just how stress impacts the body, but how to create simple, science-backed strategies to feel better — from the inside out!!!

Your body doesn’t lie. Long before burnout takes hold, many women experience:

Jaw clenching (especially at night)

These symptoms are often the body’s way of saying:
“Hey — something needs your attention.”
Chronic stress activates your sympathetic nervous system, keeping you in a low-grade fight-or-flight state. Over time, this increases muscle tension, hormonal disruption, and fatigue — making it harder to think clearly, show up with energy, and feel like yourself.

What’s driving your stress response (not just “what’s wrong” but “what’s too much”)
How tension patterns are unique to you (jaw, shoulders, posture, breath)
What routines, boundaries, or beliefs may be keeping you in overdrive
How to build resilience from the body up using micro-practices
Here are a few small, evidence-based tools I share with clients:
The 4-4-6 Breath ResetBreathe in for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat 3 rounds. This activates the vagus nerve and reduces muscle guarding.
Jaw & Neck Unwinding Ritual (3 minutes)Use warm hands and gentle strokes around the jaw hinge, temples, and base of the skull to signal safety and soften unconscious tension.
Body Scan With a TwistInstead of just noticing tension — ask yourself: What is my body trying to protect me from? Then thank it.
